homework

i think that homework can be a useless thing for kids to do when they get home. homw wrok is more work that you recive from school to do at school. if u did the work in school already than there is no point in doing it again once you get home. when we kids do homework than it feels like were at school all day. thats noy good.

Im Late for School

I got up for school today,
And nearly missed the bus!
I hurried down the stairs,
and quickly made breakfast

I quickly threw books in my bag,
My pens, books and shorts
Grabbed my coat from closet
Then took my stuff for sports

I slid across the kitchen floor,
And hopped over the cat!
Then expertly rolled over,
Then ran back to get my hat!

I ran out the front of our door,
Spun around and swung it shut
Saw the bus was waiting for me
I felt i had time to strut!

I climbed on and then froze still,
And knew things weren't right!
My friends fell down in fits of fun,
They pointed with delight

My face turned red, i couldnt breathe
For in my haste i knew!
I had forgotten to wear trousers
jumpers, shirts, socks and shoes!

What is a folklore?

Folklore culture, including stories, music, dance, legends, oral history, proverbs, jokes, popular beliefs, customs, and so forth within a particular population comprising the traditions (including oral traditions) of that culture, subculture, or group. It is also the set of practices through which those expressive genres are shared. Many rituals can sometimes be considered folklore, whether formalized in a cultural or religious system (e.g. weddings, baptisms, harvest festivals) or practiced within a family or secular context. For example, in certain parts of the United States (as well as other countries) one places a knife, or a pair of scissors, under the mattress to "cut the birth pains" after giving birth. Folklore can contain religious or mythic elements, it equally concerns itself with the sometimes mundane traditions of everyday life. Folklore frequently ties the practical and the esoteric into one narrative package. It has often been conflated with mythology, and vice versa, because it has been assumed that any figurative story that does not pertain to the dominant beliefs of the time is not of the same status as those dominant beliefs.[citation needed] Thus, Roman religion is called "myth" by Christians. In that way, both "myth" and "folklore" have become catch-all terms for all figurative narratives which do not correspond with the dominant belief structure. Urban Legends

Urban legends are populare stories alleged to be true which spread of a person person via orla or written communication. Typically, said stories concernoutlandish, humilating, humerous, terrorfying, or supernatural events- events in which, the telling usually happened to someone else. In a liue of evidence, the teller of an urban legend realies on narritive skill and refrence to alledgey trustworthy sources to bloster is creditablity.

Greek Mythology

Greek mythology is the body of myths and legends belonging to the ancient Greeks concerning their gods and heroes, the nature of the world, and the origins and significance of their own cult and ritua practices. They were a part of religion in ancient Greece. Modern scholars refer to the myths and study them in an attempt to throw light on the religious and political institutions of Ancient Greece, its civilization, and to gain understanding of the nature of myth-making itself. What is a taser?

One popular variation on the conventional stun-gun design is the Taser gun. Taser guns work the same basic way as ordinary stun guns, except the two charge electrodes aren't permanently joined to the housing. Instead, they are positioned at the ends of long conductive wires, attached to the gun's electrical circuit. Pulling the trigger breaks open a compressed gas cartridge inside the gun. The expanding gas builds pressure behind the electrodes, launching them through the air, the attached wires trailing behind.
